one week ago at this time,i was hastily packing my bag, getting ready for camp because we had to arrive in school at the oh-so-early 6:45am the next day.one week later,which is now, i am writing about my experiences in the camp, and whining about going back.

BRING ME BACK TO CAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i arrived quite late on wednesday morning. i was clutching my chinese project, looking for maxine so we can hand up together. we passed it to ms raju and she helped us pass it to li lao shi.

the bus ride was interesting. my buddy, denise, and i were yakking to each other non-stop. we slept really little, unlike rachel and melanie, who were sleeping like logs. they slept through almost the whole journey. how can they sleep so much?!?!?!

we had a break at this supermarket place and everybody were grabbing sticks of bubblegum, especially wing yan. she grabbed so much!! dozens of them! greediness is a sin,wing yan. melanie bought 2 sticks and i took one from her. my bubbles are the best, man! i can blow really huge bubbles.

after 11-or-so hours of travelling, we arrived at jerantut hill resort and found out that we would be sleeping in a chalet. it was tiny for my group of 13 people.

my class did abseiling and cave exploration the next day. abseiling was scary at first, but i conquered my fears, and went down in the end!

cave exploration was extremely cool. it was very dark inside but very windy. we walked and talked until we reach this drop-off. it was very high and rachel wanted to GO DOWN AND CHECK at first. i wonder what will happen if she really did. we were sort-of trapped. it was either the drop-off or this very very dark hole on the left side. the guiders in front were too fast, so we waited. 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 7 minutes... we saw a light of hope! it was from the torch of one of the guiders. hurray!

by the time we got back, our track pants and shoes were covered with mud, especially mine. it became brown converse shoes, the 'latest fashion'. we wanted to bathe so badly. so denise, rachel, melanie and i borrowed su an's room to bathe. ahhh! the joy of feeling and being clean. but there were consequences. we were 10 minutes late for the assembly and were punished to wash our roomate's -literally- dirty laundry. oh well, at least we were clean. we scrubbed and washed their shoes and let it out to dry.

of course, they weren't dried by the next morning. (in fact, mine was STILL not dried when i reached home.) anyway, we wore the other pair of shoes we brought.

we did canopy-walk, 4 hours of trekking and rapid-shooting on friday. for canopy-walk, it was walking on bridges through the beautiful forests. actually, we did not even had time to look at the trees, we were too busy concentrating on walking and holding on to out 'sea master' bottles. i fell once when we were trekking. ONCE, on my butt. rapid-shooting was next! guess what it is! it was this activity where we ride on a boat and 'shoot' water at each other! before we even reached our destination, rachel, mel, denise and i were already soaking wet. we were splashing water at the people behind us and they were throwing bucketfuls of water back.

campfire started around 9 or 10 and it was kind of rushy because we had a train to catch. our train back to singapore. i love campfire!!! jing yin taught everybody this loser cheer.

cool, right? by the way, my class won the best improved class award.

the journey back was not fun at all. mainly because i dreaded going back and partly because the train seat was so uncomfortable. plus, denise took up a lot space when she curled up her body and i was trying to jerk her off or wake her up with a cough.

camp was officially over when i stepped out of the school. ):
